Warm collaborative learning environment

About us as an employer

We're a small, values-led team led by founder Martha Gray, shortlisted for SEND Tutor of the Year 2026 at the National Tutor Awards. Our tutors work 1:1 and in small groups with children who often haven't thrived in mainstream settings — because of SEND, anxiety, school refusal or life circumstances.

We support our staff with clear planning, safeguarding structures and genuine collegial support. We pay fairly, we're honest about caseloads, and we protect the time it takes to do this work well.

What we look for

  • Experience supporting children with SEND, anxiety, ADHD, autism or barriers to learning
  • A calm, patient, low-arousal approach in the room
  • Strong subject knowledge and creativity in how you teach it
  • Reliability, professionalism and clear communication with families and schools
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)

Our values

These aren't posters on a wall — they're how we make decisions about pupils, families and each other.

Inclusion

Every child belongs. We meet learners where they are.

Relationships

Trust is the foundation of every session we run.

Wellbeing

Emotional safety comes before academic pressure.

Courage

We show up for young people others have found hard to reach.

Community

We work alongside families, schools and each other.
